The versatile and innovative Energy Storage System (ESS) charges the battery modules during off-peak hours when power is the least expensive. These powerful monolithic mega cells have a long life span and can be discharged quickly to provide short-term, high energy output to the home or the grid. Any excess power from wind generation, rooftop solar panels or smart grids that aren’t immediately needed by your residence can be stored for later use or sold back to the utility. Our batteries allow operation at very high temperatures (up to 85°C = 185°F), which makes them resilient and need no air conditioning. There is no need to follow a complete charge and discharge cycle, these batteries can be stored at a fully charged state for weeks (or years) with virtually no self-discharge.

Expertise from the energy sector, utility companies, and military installations has enabled the development of an energy management system focused on maintaining business continuity. 

Algorithms and procedures controlling the flow of energy and information on the networks, the power sources, energy conversion, battery storage, loads, related sensors, as well as the grid connection, not only provide optimized performance, but also enforce stringent security to guarantee operational stability in harsh environments. 

The CIM cybersecurity deception technology behind the Smart Energy Bank prevents cyber attacks by exposing suspicious behavior of adversaries directed against the energy infrastructure. CIM crawlers gather specific software and hardware vulnerabilities from the dark web, as well as relevant information from paste sites, repositories, hacker forums, community channels, and leaked credential databases.

Our own custom designed system

A 500 kWh SmartEST Utility energy storage system in a 20-foot shipping container stores renewable (solar and wind) energy, powering a building as well as a 70 kW AC EV charger, while selling power to the grid.

The system, built for demonstration purposes, is capable of much more output, is expandable, and is DC charged directly from the power generation source, without the need for an inverter or grid connection.

The container needs no cooling, is transportable and is used for:

    1. Smoothing out pulsating energy production of renewable farms (wind & solar)
    2. Micro networks & off-grid stand-alone operations
    3. Ancillary services
    4. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and maintaining continuity of operations during longer power outages
    5. Energy arbitration


R&D in the field of mobile EV charging stations

Our R&D project with the University of Obuda in Hungary aims to develop a mobile charging station designed for fast charging electric vehicles anywhere.

We go to the customer instead of asking them to come to us.

It provides a solution to the existing insufficient charging network with the advancement of electro-mobility. The product resulting from our R&D project will efficiently and flexibly meet the increased demand for charging, without burdening the current electricity supply infrastructure, and reduce ‘range anxiety’ which is a major stumbling block to greater EV adoption. It is still one of the greatest barriers to the spread of e-mobility. In the domestic market, the resulting system contributes to the further development and strengthening of the electric vehicle market and auxiliary services.

SmartEST Residential

SmartEST Residential™ is a small-scale integrated energy storage installment, mostly tailored for urban housing. It reduces reliance on the grid since it stores your accumulated energy from renewables. Energy produced by solar panels can only be used when the sun is shining if the energy is not stored.
